Just to get this blog started and make sure I remember how to start a new blog and how to post on it, this will be the first entry on "Fun Times in Telegraph Cove".  I hope to be able to find internet access so that I can blog about my summer trip of 2013.  Last summer, my friend, Connie and I traveled by 5-th wheel to Canada and Alaska and I blogged about that trip and folks seemed to really enjoy traveling with us, if only by the blog.

Telegraph Cove is at the northern end of Vancouver Island, B.C.  I was invited last fall by two friends to come join them this summer as they go there every summer and fish and have a wonderful time.  So I took them up on their offer and plan on being up there, 5th-wheel, dogs, fishing rods and camera (well, maybe a little wine) from July 21 though August 22.  It will be just the dogs and I and I plan on making stops in Nevada, Idaho, Montana and Washington State to visit and fish on my way up to catch the ferry out of Vancouver, B.C.

I just love to fish, especially fly-fishing.  I'm no pro, but that doesn't stop me from really enjoying the challenge.

Besides my long-time traveling companion, Abby, the miniature Schnauzer, I now have two youngsters to break in.  Maddie (for Maddie Rose) is a now nearly 6 month old tri-colored (parti) Yorkie and Jaxson (Jax for short) is a traditional colored Yorkie, just barely 3 1/2 months old at this posting.  They already are excited about the rv so every time the door is open, in they jump.

So, until I get ready to hook-up and pull out around the end of June, that's it for this posting.
